designXdesign: 20under30

I visited this exhibition ‘DesignXDesign- 20under30’ last week.
This is a joint initiative of Alliance Francaise de Delhi and Studio IF.

Showing the energy behind the design. This is also geared towards raising levels of appreciation within and nurturing connections across various creative industries – architecture, urban/ landscape/ interior design, product/ industrial design, textile/ fashion design, graphic/ communication design etc.. Local and global in outlook, it is directed at the initiated and the uninitiated alike.

Anvita Jain, a multidisciplinary artist -designer has put together a wide array of her work created over the past few year. If you find her work interesting you can visit her website

NappaDori, a collection of leather products with an essence of vintage india


Bodice is a conceptual brand that promotes the expression of individuality through fine, hand-made tailored garments.Bodice tied up with a Non Governmental Organization – Access Development Services to encourage and develop hands-on work produced by weavers and embroiders in Rajasthan.

They have made some cool bows available at Rs 1500 in their studios. You can view them in their website.
